"RAYLAN"

We are thrilled to have a new "Yogi" puppy to carry on  in his daddy's pawprints, thanks to the generosity of Rick Fellows and Penelope Leibler, Raylan's breeders and co-owners.  Raylan is going through his teen-age stage but shows great promise and will start his show career in the 6-9 month puppy class at the Fall Roundup in Sep 2018, when he will turn 6 months old. 

He has passed all his health checks as Dec 2021.

Raylan was shown again in Lethbridge AB in Nov 2018.  At 8 months, he is looking very nice and his personality is SUPER.  He was Winner Dog both days of the Lethbridge show, gaining more experience and having fun!   

Raylan is well on his way to becoming a Canadian Charmpion, gaining 4 points as Best of Winners two days at the OKOTOKS, AB show in May 2019.  We will  show him in Canada the U.S.  throughout this year as he  continues to mature into a very nice little boy!  Unfortunately, as is the case with so many, Raylan's show career in Canada has been interrupted by the border closing between USA and Canada due to Covid.  We are hopeful that in 2022 we will be able to travel  more freely and complete the last requirement for Raylan's Canadian Champion Title.  

Meanwhile, we have ventured into other fun activities, such as Farm Dog, Scent Work and Temperment Testing.   Raylan got his first leg in Scent Work Novice Containers this fall.  He has passed all the tests for  h Farm Dog Title, Canine Good Citizen Advanced and Urban, and AKC Temperament Test.  

We are also taking an Obedience Class so we will be ready to compete in Obedience and Rally trials in 2022.  

 Raylan is fulfilling all the promise he has shown to follow in his daddy's footsteps.  And, he is passing on these wonderful qualities to his offspring.
